How to Integrate Microsoft Ad Account with Pearl Diver
By integrating Pearl Diver with Microsoft Bing Ads, you can precisely target high-intent audiences and drive better campaign performance. This integration allows you to sync audience segments built in Pearl Diver directly into your Bing Ads account—empowering you to reach the right users at the right time with relevant, personalised ads.
✅ Active Microsoft Bing Ads Account
✅ Ad Account Access
The Microsoft Bing user authorizing the integration must have access to at least one Microsoft Bing ad account.
The user should hold one of the following roles on the Microsoft Bing ads account:
Super Admin / Admin (preferred)
✅ At least one audience must be created in Pearl Diver prior to integration.

At Least One Pearl Diver Audience Created:

Create an audience in Pearl Diver for the data you wish to send through the TikTok Ads integration.

This ensures the integration will have an audience to sync with

A custom audience takes up to 24 hours to build, and targeting for it won't take effect until that point.

Custom audiences will not be applied until they have at least 300 users.
📌 Customer Match Terms Acceptance (One-Time Setup)
To enable audience syncing, Microsoft requires you to accept the Customer Match Terms in the advertising UI.
Steps:

Go to Microsoft Advertising UI

Navigate to:
Tools > Shared Library > Audiences -
Click Create Audience List (it can be empty).

You will be prompted to accept the Customer Match Terms – accept them.
⚠️ Mandatory Step:
This acceptance is required. Without completing it, the integration cannot send audience data to Microsoft Ads.
How to Set Up the Microsoft Bing Integration
Connect your Microsoft Bing Ads account to Pearl Diver in a few quick steps:

Log in to your Pearl Diver account.

Navigate to the “Actions” page from the side tray menu.

Locate and select the “Microsoft Bing” integration tile.

Click “Authorise”.

A new window will appear prompting you to sign in with your Microsoft Bing Ads Manager credentials.

Once signed in, grant Pearl Diver permission to:

Access Ads account(s)

Create and Manage audiences
-

Click “Authorise” to finalise the connection.
Important: To ensure a successful and fully functional integration between Pearl Diver and your Microsoft Bing Ads account, we recommend the following:
✅ Required Ad Account Permissions
The user who authorises Pearl Diver must have one of the following roles on the ad account:

Ad Manager

Once successfully connected, you’ll see a confirmation screen in Pearl Diver.

In the Action configuration card, you will see the logged-in mail under the ‘Authorised as’ field.

Select the ad account from the ‘Ad Account’ dropdown and click the Update button.

Verifying the Integration
Once setup is complete:

Your authorised email appears under ‘Authorised as’

Your available Ad Accounts appear in the dropdown
You can now sync Pearl Diver audiences directly to a Microsoft Bing Ads account.
🔍 Where It Appears in Microsoft Ads
Once your audience is synced and processed successfully by Microsoft:
1. Log in to Microsoft Advertising

Sign in with the Microsoft account connected to your ad account.
2. Go to Audience Manager

From the top navigation, click on Tools

Under Advertising, targeting, and tracking, click Audiences.
