How to Integrate Pearl Diver With SharePoint

The SharePoint integration in Pearl Diver allows users to export Custom Audience data directly into a SharePoint folder in CSV format. This integration is designed for Pearl Diver users who need a straightforward way to transfer audience data into their organization's SharePoint environment for further use.

✅ Prerequisites

To authorize the SharePoint integration within Pearl Diver and enable data syncing for Custom Audience creation, ensure the following:

  • A Microsoft account with access to the SharePoint folder where data will be exported.

  • A site created by the user who’s going to authorize in Pearl Diver

  • At least one Custom Audience already created in Pearl Diver.

🛠️ How to Set Up the SharePoint Integration

Step 1: Connect Your Microsoft Account to Pearl Diver

a) Log into your Pearl Diver account.

b) Go to the Actions page.

c) Click on the SharePoint action to open the integration configuration screen.

Step 2: Authorize with Microsoft

a) Click Authorize with Microsoft.

b) A Microsoft login window will appear. Sign in with the Microsoft account that has access to your SharePoint.

c) Click Accept to grant access

d) Once authorized, you will be returned to Pearl Diver and the Authorized as field will display your connected Microsoft email address.

Step 3: Select a Storage Drive

a)  In the Action Configuration panel, click the Storage Drive dropdown.

b)  Available options will appear — including OneDrive, and any SharePoint site document libraries (e.g. yourorg/sites/YourSiteName/Documents).

c)  Select the SharePoint site document library where audience data should be exported.

d)  Click Update to save. Data will sync into the Documents folder of the selected SharePoint site.

Step 4: Add Audience Configuration

a)  Under Add new audience, select one or more Pearl Diver audiences to connect to this action.

b)  Click Update to save the configuration.


🔍 Where It Appears in SharePoint

Once the audiences are successfully synced, data will be exported as CSV files to your connected SharePoint folder. The audiences that are successfully uploaded will be placed in a folder with the audience name and key (audienceName_audienceKey) which will be inside a parent folder with the audience type as its name (either web or intent)

Configuration Notes

  • If you create a new SharePoint site after the initial authorization, you must click Reauthorize in Pearl Diver for the site to appear in the Storage Drive dropdown.

  • Exported audience data is written into the Documents space inside your selected SharePoint site.

  • Audience configurations can be updated at any time by returning to the SharePoint action screen.

  • Ensure your Microsoft account permissions remain active to avoid interruptions to data sync.
