How to Use Activity Feed

The Activity Feed provides a complete view of all tracked website activity across your connected websites. It allows you to search, filter, and export visitor session data from a single location, making it easier to understand who is engaging with your sites and how they arrived there.

📈 What is the Activity Feed?

The Activity Feed is a centralized activity log that displays all tracked website visits across your connected domains.

With the Activity Feed, you can:

  • View all tracked website activity in one place
  • Identify who visited your website
  • See which pages visitors viewed
  • Understand which campaigns drove traffic to your website
  • Search for specific visitors, websites, or campaigns
  • Export visitor session data for further analysis

🚀 Accessing the Activity Feed

To access the Activity Feed:

  1. Log in to Pearl Diver.
  2. Navigate to Activity Feed from the main navigation menu.
  3. The Activity Feed will load all tracked website activity from your connected websites.

📖 Understanding the Activity Feed

Each activity record includes information about a tracked website visit, including:

  • Visitor email address and name
  • Website visited
  • Landing page path
  • UTM source information (where available)
  • UTM campaign information (where available)
  • Date and time of the visit

This provides a complete view of who visited, where they landed, and which campaign brought them there.


🔎 Searching Activity

Use the search bar at the top of the page to quickly locate specific visitor activity.

You can search using:

  • Visitor name
  • Email address
  • Website name
  • URL path
  • UTM Source
  • UTM Campaign
  • Other tracked UTM attributes

Filtering Activity

🌐 Filter by Website

If you have multiple websites connected to Pearl Diver, use the website filter to view activity for a specific site.

📅 Filter by Date Range

Activity can be filtered by the following date ranges:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 14 days
  • Last 28 days

This allows you to focus on recent activity and analyze trends over time.


🎯 Campaign Attribution

When available, Activity Feed displays UTM tracking parameters captured during a visitor's session.

Common attribution data includes:

  • UTM Source – The platform, publisher, or traffic source associated with the visit.
  • UTM Campaign – The campaign name associated with the visit.
  • Additional UTM parameters where available.

This information helps you understand which campaigns and marketing activities are driving engagement and website traffic.


📤 Exporting Activity Data

The Activity Feed supports instant export of visitor session data.

To export data:

  1. Select Export.
  2. Download the activity data file.

💡 Note: Exports always contain the full Activity Feed dataset. Any search criteria or filters applied within the Activity Feed will not be reflected in the exported file.
