The removal steps depend on how the pixel was installed. Find your platform below, and confirm the removal worked once you've published the change.

Google Tag Manager

1. Log in to Google Tag Manager and select the correct container.
2. Go to Tags and find the one containing "pearldiver.io" or "ldc.js" (often named "Pearl Diver Pixel"). The search field in GTM finds it quickly.
3. Click the tag, then pause it or delete it.
4. Click Submit, then Publish the changes.

WordPress

If it was added through a headers/footers plugin

1. Check your Plugins list for something like "Insert Headers and Footers" or "WPCode".
2. Open its settings, usually under Settings or Code Snippets.
3. Find the Pearl Diver script (pearldiver.io or ldc.js) in the Header or Footer field and remove it.
4. Save your changes.

If it was added in the theme files

1. Go to Appearance → Theme File Editor and open header.php (check footer.php too).
2. Search for "pearldiver" or "ldc.js" and remove the script line.
3. Click Update File.

Note: If GTM is installed through a WordPress plugin, remove the Pearl Diver tag inside GTM instead, using the steps above.

Shopify

If it was added in theme.liquid

1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Actions → Edit Code.
2. Open layout/theme.liquid, search for "pearldiver" or "ldc.js," and remove it.
3. Save.

If it was added under Preferences

1. Go to Online Store → Preferences and check Additional Scripts.
2. Remove the Pearl Diver script if it's there, then save.

Squarespace, Wix, and Webflow

• Squarespace — Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection, check the Header and Footer fields for "pearldiver" or "ldc.js," remove it, and save.
• Wix — Go to Settings → Custom Code (or Tracking & Analytics), find the snippet, remove or disable it, then publish. If it was added through GTM instead, remove it there.
• Webflow — Go to Project Settings → Custom Code, check the Head Code and Footer Code sections for "pearldiver" or "ldc.js," remove it, save, and publish.

HubSpot CMS and custom-built sites

• HubSpot — Go to Settings → Website → Pages, check your site header HTML or template settings for "pearldiver" or "ldc.js," remove it, then publish.
• Custom or developer-managed site — Ask your developer to search the codebase for "pearldiver," "ldc.js," or "tag.pearldiver.io," remove it from the global header, footer, or tag manager, then deploy.

✅ Confirm it's removed

1. Open your website in an incognito or private window.
2. Right-click and choose View Page Source.
3. Search the page (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) for "pearldiver" or "ldc.js".
4. If nothing appears, the pixel is removed.
