How to Integrate Pearl Diver With SharePoint
Export your Pearl Diver Custom Audience data directly into a SharePoint document library as CSV files.
The SharePoint integration exports your Pearl Diver Custom Audience data directly into a SharePoint folder as CSV files, giving you a straightforward way to move audience data into your organization's SharePoint environment.
✅ Prerequisites
- A Microsoft account with access to the SharePoint folder where data will be exported.
- A site already created by the user who will authorize the integration in Pearl Diver.
- At least one Custom Audience already created in Pearl Diver.
⚡ What you can do
- Export Custom Audience data to SharePoint as CSV files.
- Authenticate securely using Microsoft OAuth.
- Configure exports at the audience level, kept in sync between Pearl Diver and SharePoint.
🛠️ Set up the integration
- Log in to Pearl Diver.
- Go to the Actions page.
- Click the SharePoint action to open the integration configuration screen.
- Click Authorize with Microsoft.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that has access to your SharePoint, then click Accept to grant access.
- You're returned to Pearl Diver, and the Authorized As field shows your connected Microsoft email address.
Select a storage drive
- In the Action Configuration panel, click the Storage Drive dropdown.
- Available options include OneDrive and any SharePoint site document libraries (for example, yourorg/sites/YourSiteName/Documents).
- Select the SharePoint site document library where audience data should be exported.
- Click Update to save. Data syncs into the Documents folder of the selected site.
Note: If your SharePoint site isn't showing up, open SharePoint in your browser, navigate to the document library you want, and click Follow. Then return to Pearl Diver and refresh the SharePoint action page. Your site should now appear in the dropdown.
Add audience configuration
- Under Add New Audience, select one or more Pearl Diver audiences to connect to this action.
- Click Update to save.
🔍 Where it appears in SharePoint
Once synced, audience data lands as CSV files in a folder named audienceName_audienceKey, inside a parent folder named for the audience type: web or intent.
Configuration notes
- If you create a new SharePoint site after the initial authorization, click Reauthorize in Pearl Diver so the site appears in the Storage Drive dropdown.
- Exported data is written into the Documents space inside your selected site.
- Update your audience configuration any time by returning to the SharePoint action screen.
- Keep your Microsoft account permissions active to avoid interruptions to the sync.
